We can help you, but please realise our main priority is our paying clients and not your story. Your first port of call should be our Fact-a-Day archive, where there is a wealth of free stats. We also have a lot of data-rich reports, infographics and presentations, some of which are free, see our work here.

If you do need something more specific, what would help us is if you presented a focused query. Please do not ask us to give you information on ‘insights about economic trends in South Africa’ rather DO ask us, ‘How many people earn more than R40 000/month in South Africa?’ A more focused question helps give you quicker results and saves both of us time.

Crediting of Eighty20 is expected and non-negotiable.

Our recruiting process is unique. We’re not interested in your CV, until you’ve completed the Eighty20 challenge. Put your thinking caps on!

We ARE NOT the ‘National Consumer Database’ and we DID NOT give out your phone number or email.
Please contact the Direct Marketing Association of SA if you want to complain about unsolicited phone calls, emails and sms or if you want to be put on a Do Not Contact list.

We would never give out your email or contact details, but should you access our products, such as XtracT, we may contact you to see if we can be of further assistance.

The SAARF Living Standards Measure (LSM) has become the most widely used segmentation tool in South Africa. It is a means of segmenting the South African market that cuts across race, gender, age or any other variable used to categorise people. Instead, it groups people according to their living standards.

LSM’s are calculated based on ownership of household assets and a few other requirements. Check out our LSM Calculator and see what LSM you fall into.

SAARF is the South African Advertising Research Foundation. Their website is http://www.saarf.co.za/
