   It is not possible that the average South African works a 9 hour day. You can only mean that the average working day for those in employment. Given the unemployed work 0 hours a day, a 9 hour average for the Labour Force would require close to 13 hours from those working. If you took the whole population, it would raise this close to 24 hours.

      True, but the little bit of history does say SA “worker”, which eliminates 20%-30% of the SA population (depending on definition and credibility). Rgrds
