According to the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) latest World Economic Outlook report, Nigeria is Africa’s largest economy with a GDP of $376 billion, followed by South Africa with a GDP of $349 billion. GDP per capita provides a different view. The largest African economy according to GDP per capita is Mauritius ($9,794), followed by Gabon ($7,971).
