Australian Semi-Open
The Australian open is an annual tennis tournament that has run for more than 100 years. It started as a men’s tournament in 1905, with the first women’s tournament in 1922. This year, with capacity limited due to the Omicron variant of the COVID-19 virus, the tournament expects to see 390,000 spectators at the event. This is in sharp contrast to the 812,174 seen in 2020.
