Brain food
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is the most abundant omega-3 found in our brains. Children aged between 7 and 9, who were given an omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) enriched diet for six months exhibited significantly higher plasma and red blood cell DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid levels. These PUFA levels correlated with superior verbal learning, spelling and reading abilities. (http://bit.ly/2AbwNvd)
