Carrot-ray vision
“Eating carrots improves your night vision”. Though eating carrots is good for maintaining normal eyesight capability it does not improve night vision. This myth traces back to WWII where the British Royal Air Force spread the rumour that eating a lot of carrots allowed British pilots to see better at night, when it was in fact the use of radar, a cutting edge technology at the time.
