Celebrations
Started by King George II in 1748, the ruling British Monarch has had two birthdays; one real birthday and one official birthday. King George II was born in November but held official celebrations, including a spectacular parade, in the Summer when the weather was likely to be better. Queen Elizabeth II marks her real birthday with 3 separate midday gun salutes on the 21st of April and usually celebrates her official birthday on the second Saturday of June. (https://bbc.in/2LmAx0G)
