The 4 years leading up to the 2008 Global Financial Crisis was the longest period without bank failures in the US. This period was followed by 322 bank failures up until the end of 2010. The failure of Silicon Valley Bank in March 2023 concluded the second-longest period of no bank failures, possibly signaling more bank failures to come in the near future.
