    is this the full facts? what about how much it costs to transport the book to us here in SA. Most probably the same or more as the cost of the book.

    Jennifer and Hugh – you’re missing the point. The point is that consumers in the US pay half what consumers in SA pay. Imported books are even cheaper in Tokyo, one of the most expensive cities in the world.
