Dragon Man
The skull of the so-called ‘Dragon Man’ was discovered in China by a farmer in 1933. Researchers at the Chinese Academy of Sciences have been analysing the skull since it resurfaced in 2018. They say that it dates back at least 146,000 years, and that it represents a newly discovered species of human. This new species has been dubbed Homo longi, and it should replace Neanderthals as our closest human relative.
