   This statistic is indeed fascinating; this particularly in that it indicates that the average Dutch citizen contributes 8 times more to the prosperity of the Nation than what the average South African contributes to the prosperity of our Nation. If this is a fair assessment of the value of every contributing member of our society, then surely it is time to start focusing on the unemployable stats as opposed to the usual unemployment statistics. This should also include the idle hundreds of thousands who are being housed in our grossly over-crowded prisons who are a total liability to the already overstressed National economy.
   Prisoners should be put to work on well-run and very secure prison farms that contribute to the supplying of quality food products for
   the Nation and also possibly for export to other unproductive, starving African Nations.
   Our Nation and this lazy, greedy and pleasure seeking government really needs a very serious wake-up call. Easy solutions produce nothing!!!

      It Doesn’t mean All these Silly things LuLu !!!
      It means that we have 50m people & that the Country has a GDP of $300m.
      The Netherlands has a smaller population & More MultiNational Companies.

      The GDP/Capita is NOT a Reflection of the wealth of people because the wealth is usually Monopolised in the hands of 2000 or less people – who usually inherited their wealth,so so much for the Rich Not being Lazy.
      In SA the GDP of the Oppenheimer Family which established it’s Monopolies During the British Imperial & Apartheid Regimes is +/-40% of SA’s GDP.

      In Addition 40m people with a Bantu Education can hardly be expected to contribute in a meaningful way to the Economy.
