Ginger
Ginger is a favourite (and often only) suggested remedy for nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. A 2018 meta study published in the journal Foods suggests there may be some truth to this old wive’s remedy. Looking at 18 studies on the efficacy of ginger root for treatment of NVP (commonly referred to as morning sickness) they concluded that ‘ginger is a safe and effective treatment for NVP’.
