   Astounding to find that one of the most underdeveloped areas in the world is responsible for so much growth of the human race. A bit of a catch 22 as i feel that in order for the Sub-Saharan region region to become developed, we need more people, but then again it is an educated people that we need, of which without the proper infrastructure, the addition of the Human Being are just additions. What are the best laid plans of mice and men and who is going to figure it out.

   If you consider that growth rate in the context of the effect of HIV&AIDS on lower life expectancy and higher death rates. The actual “potential” growth rate is enormous. It’s birth rate that needs to drop – for us to have any chance of giving today’s newborn Africans any chance of a decent future.

   Interesting, so if the birth rate curbed more resources would be spent on developing the people that are still growing for with development of the person things like Aids/HIV are realised more and thus there would be stronger effort to avoid it.
