Hairspray
President Ramaphosa announced an easing of restrictions on certain economic activities on June 17, 2020. One of the industries included is personal care services, including hairdressers and beauty services. According to the 2019Q4 Labour Force Survey, 147 200 individuals worked as hairdressers, beauticians or worked in other related businesses and would have been unable to work during lockdown.
