It is estimated that 19.7 million children under the age of one have not received basic vaccines due to their lack of availability as well as a resurgence in anti-vaccination rhetoric. A US poll in May found that only about half of Americans said they would be willing to get a coronavirus vaccine. One in five said they would refuse and 31 percent were uncertain.
