Labour force participation
Approximately 1.3 billion people live in Africa, accounting for 17% of the global population. Of these, 764 million people (or 59%) are of working age (15 years or older). Over 63% of the total working-age population in Africa participates in the labour market. Wage and salaried workers are still a minority, representing less than one in three (28%) of total employment. (http://bit.ly/2vv4fdb)
