   What is the point of fact a day when you don’t send us facts? This week, and another recently. Irritated and ready to unsubscribe.

   I used to make use of your site as a reliable source of information. Since the AMPS debacle I am getting more and more concerned that this is no longer the situation – is the information provided accurate or not?

   Having to ‘vote’ on whether information is statistical or “lies” as you put it, really does not instill confidance in the information provided. If your data is based on anything but accurate statistics, I would prefer to rather unsubscribe from your newsletter.

   Please tell me that the lies bit is just tongue in cheeck!

Our intention for this week was to run a competition where our subscribers stand a chance to win a Lindt chocolate hamper by voting for what they believe to be a statistic or a lie…just changing things up for one week. We hope you remain a subscriber and enjoy the coming week’s facts.    Similarly slightly annoyed – this feed competes with much other mail and limited time! – much as I like Lindt chocolate!

   I’m enjoying this week’s facts and I think it’s a fun competition. I think it gets people thinking and promotes healthy debate.
