According to BrandMapp, available through Eighty20’s Data Portal, only about 3% of South African adults see themselves becoming vegan in the future, with 53% of them under 34. More South Africans lean toward less drastic health choices, like becoming vegetarian (6%), reducing dairy (13%), or eating less meat (18%).
