   And can you tell us what percentage of South Africans Earn between R237 250 000 and R365 000 per annum? i.e. between R650 and R1 000 per day.

   While this is an extreme, there are many other statistics that are even more horrifying as they hit a bit closer to home.

   Consider for instance that the cost per month to feed one mid-size dog is about the same as the social security benefit amount which is often the only income for a whole family for that month
