Luphi ulwimi lam?
Apartheid’s marginalization of indigenous African Languages left a legacy in the South African publishing industry. Between April 2018 and March 2019 South African publishers reported R121m in sales of locally produced adult non-fiction books. R78m was for English books, R42m for Afrikaans books and only R287,000 (0.24%) was for books written in an indigenous African Language.
