Magma-nificent
Magma is extremely hot liquid and semi-liquid rock located under Earth’s surface. When magma flows onto Earth’s surface, it is called lava. There are three basic types of magma: basaltic, andesitic, and rhyolitic, each of which is made up of a different minerals. These magma types range in temperature from 1000°C-1200°C, 800°C-1000°C, and 650°C-800°C respectively. Both the temperature and mineral content of magma affect how easily it flows.
