Due to her naturally elevated testosterone levels, Caster Semenya was not allowed to compete in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics 800m race, where she won gold at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. She was allowed to compete in the 5,000m, however she failed to qualify at a meet in Belgium when she came 4th with a time of 15:50.12; the qualifying time required was 15:10.00.
