New Year’s Resolutions – What are the Odds?
As the month is coming to an end, it’s time to reflect on our New Year’s Resolutions, with weight-loss making up 60% of all resolutions. Unfortunately, up to 64% of people don’t stick to their goals after one month. The poor success is attributed to stress, lack of self-confidence and emotional instability. Despite poor odds, using approach-orientated goals are more than 10% more effective than avoidance-orientated goals.
