   One of the most damaging factors to the health of a society is the absence of involved and loving fathers in the family unit. These stats are even worse than they appear due to the fact that many fathers are physically present but emotionally absent.
   Children receive (or don’t receive) a great deal of their sense of self worth and purpose from their dad. Children with absent fathers tend to grow up with an orphan spirit, constantly battling to find their place in the world.

   This is because the mothers choose to cut the fathers out of the children’s lives. I know a few cases and have even tried to mediate in one but all she wants is pocket money from the father(s). The disease that needs to be cured is the one that makes women have kids for money; Either from the men or from government. It is a common syndrome in our society.

   This is one of the saddest facts I’ve seen. Real men do not abandon their families. They stand by them and do whatever it takes to protect them. The prevalence of HIV in the youth, the “need” of girls to find sugar-daddies is directly derived from the lack of an entire generation of men prepared to stand up and be real men, and now there is virtually noone to show the next generation how a real man behaves. Instead of compassion born from strength we have angry little boys like Julius Malema trying to be men, but they do not know how to be. So, so sad.
