On 15 November 2022, tickets went on sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour on Ticketmaster, driving 14m people to the site and inevitably crashing it. However, only 2m tickets were sold, leaving at least 12m fans disappointed. The company suggested that, based on the volume of traffic to the site, Taylor Swift would have to perform a stadium show every night for 2.5 years to meet the demand.
