   Do you have a comparative statistic to show productivity ofthe two sets of workers?

   This goes against the grain of perception that private sector employees are better off to their public counterparts in terms of remuneration and sundry. Having said that, the law of averages have a habit to be factually misleading. It’s like saying a man with a head in a hot oven and his feet in a cold freezer is on average doing OK!

   Hi Joe .. I don’t know where your head is, in or out off the oven! The fact of that matter is, private sector is working with their own money to make a profit, the government does not have the same accountability or drive to make the money WORK (its not profit driven). Hence the “low” productivity & higher salaries. A comparative statistic would be interesting though.
