According to MAPS 2020, 39% of white South African adults describe their working life as “working full-time”. This contrasts to 19% and 25% for black or coloured adults respectively. On the other side, 11% of white South African adults describe their working life as “unemployed”, in contrast to 28% and 21% for for black or coloured.
