The introduction of Level 5 Lockdown decreased visits to public open spaces in the Western Cape and Gauteng by an average of 79% and 60% respectively. Nationally, the level 5 Lockdown caused a 47% decline, which improved to a 27% decline as lockdown regulations were relaxed in Level 3.
