   The forced closure of schools across South Africa until mid-July 2021 highlights the serious impact COVID-19 continues to have on education systems globally. With the government’s inoculation strategy targeting over half a million school staff by early July, it’s encouraging to see steps being taken to protect educators and students alike. However, the disruption in education and the challenges of remote learning emphasize the urgent need for innovative solutions to support continuity in learning during these times. Hopefully, the vaccination rollout will bring some stability and allow students and teachers to return to their classrooms safely.
