   This means 2,600 sq Kilometers (26 x 100 Kms) of farmland being used for a product that is of absolutely no use to humanity; in fact producing a product that is the well-known start on the way to addiction to products other than tobacco that literally destroys the lives of individuals, families and even whole communities; this to the enrichment of greedy, uncaring syndicates and governments. Ridding the world of tobacco would be doing the whole world a big favor. Imagine the amount of good, wholesome farm produce that could be produced to feed starving millions, and the potential millions who could be saved from the curse of addiction to soul-destroying drugs.
