Taxing Times
In their recent meeting, the G7 agreed to address the taxation of multinational businesses (such as Google, Apple, Amazon and Facebook), by supporting a minimal global rate of at least 15%, and make the companies pay tax in the countries where they sell goods and services. This could assist the recovery from recent economic turmoil, however, the measures will need to find broader agreement at the G20 meeting later in the year.
