The well known Duracell Bunny mascot is not used in the USA due to a trademark dispute with Energizer. Duracell failed to register the Bunny mascot as a trademark, allowing Energizer to trademark it. In 1992, the two companies came to an agreement where Energizer would use the bunny in the US while Duracell would use it everywhere else.
