The Happiness Gap

According to BrandMapp, available through Eighty20’s Data Portal, young South Africans report lower happiness levels compared to older adults. Specifically, about 46% of South Africans aged 18 to 34 describe themselves as “Happy” or “Very Happy”, compared to 62% of those aged 55 and above.

*BrandMapp only measures adults in households with incomes above R10,000 per month.
