The Mother of all Storms in the Mother City
“The Mother of all Storms” hit the Cape in June 2017. Lasting ~36 hours, the storm was the worst seen in the Cape for 30 years. Wave heights reached 11 metres, and wind speeds exceeded 120km/h, blowing over trees.
