   How do you explain that the crime by percentage wise is much lower in Denmark and India? Ie 1.2 billion to 50 million.
   one officer with 316 can’t do a good job then one officer with 1040 does a good job.
   Our country is screwed,our officers are law unto themselves and we are all living in the fabled land of Ali Baba and his 40 thieves.
   Go on prove me wrong ask Beke Cele..(latest news re 500 million saga)

   I quite frankly do not believe that our actual population figure, indicated by really badly contrived statistics, is anything less than 70 to 75% more than what is claimed. This means that our policeman to public citizen ratio may very well be 1 : 547; this making the accurate efficiency factor far less reasonable. This added to the fact that few people have any trust in our very poorly selected and very poorly disciplined public protectors, who are often exposed for being part of the criminal element in South Africa, certainly does not make law-abiding citizens feel at all free to call upon the so-called authorities for any form of assistance. The whole debacle is one enormous joke in the eyes of true, first-world entities like Australia! Or am I maybe totally misinformed about what is actually going on in Australia? By the way: who are the true first- world countries anyway? Where in this poor sick world is any real form of LAW, ORDER and DISCIPLINE to be found that can be taken real seriously? O’Lord, may Thy Kingdom come soon!

   Agree with Terry. Recently I’ve heard about so many incidents of police corruption in my neighbourhood, I’d like to suggest they fire 300 and train the 15 to do the job properly. They are NOT overworked, they are NOT overpaid. They are just lazy and corrupt. Why else do we have to take our safety and security into our own hands? Not surprising when you see who gives nice parties to Mr Naidoo!!!
