Tianhe: Launch to the Heavens
On 29 April 2021, China launched The Tianhe, the first module of its Tiangong Space Station, expected to be operational by 2022 after about 10 more missions to deliver parts and assemble them in orbit. The only space station currently in orbit is the International Space Station, from which China is excluded. The Tiangong Space Station is expected to weigh ~66 tons, which is smaller than the ISS at ~420 tons.
