The Google Covid-19 Community Mobility Report found that on March 26 (the day before lockdown), South Africa saw a 26% decline in visits to transport hubs (e.g. train and bus stations). On March 27 this changed to an 81% decline. For the Western Cape, these figures were a 35% decline on 26 March, and an 85% decline on 27 March.
