NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope recently identified possible signs of life on K2-18 b, an exoplanet 120 light-years away from Earth. Webb detected a molecule called dimethyl sulfide (DMS), which is believed to only be produced by life forms. Carbon dioxide and methane were also identified in the planet’s atmosphere.
