   The correct source of the statistic you quote is the QLFS. LFS is used to refer to the previous version of the unemplyoment survey which was published twice a year.

   The correct source of the statistic you have quoted is the QLFS. LFS is the name used to refer to previous version of unemployment surveys run by Statistics SA which was published twice a year.

   Please let us know how many jobs The New Growth Plan or IPAP2 has rendered to our people. I believe the number should be 5 million (Growth Plan) as an objective.

   Why is it that this was calculated for the age of 15 aren’t most 15-17(18) years olds still in school and thus unemployed s well?

      Stephan, the unemployment stats *exclude* non-economically active people, i.e. scholars, housewives, pensioners, etc. So the 15-year-olds who are part of the unemployment statistics are not at school.
