   An interesting statistic. Assuming respondents reflect the demographics of the country, one may then assume that at least the largest race group, blacks, are deferential to females holding high office. Why? Is it a perception of females being more competent, honest, or hardworking, or a combination of these factors?

   The novelty of women in politics or elsewhere where men compete is worn out and obsolete. Best person for the position is the sensible policy to adopt. Gender has got absolutely nothing to do with proficiency at professional or whatever level.
