   Countries like The Netherlands looks very high at 52% and this will probably used by our Government to increase the taxes in SA in the near future. The thing is, that in countries like the Netherlands you actually get something in return for your Tax, not like in SA where you have to still pay for most of the services yourself after paying your taxes and so much of the tax goes to enriching the few connected and there cronies. ah well at least we have sunshine, which can’t be be taxed.

   This figure probably applies to someone earning 1000 dollars a month in Switzerland but it is the same 1000 usd a month that will buy you about one loaf of bread , a bottle of wine and 2 steaks in Switzerland. It is clear that the “facts” that you stipulated are not weighted on quantum, does not stipulate minimums or maximums and or is biasd to whatever point it is that you want to make . Please look at the concept of PAYE when stating such “facts” again.Have you also heard of social taxes as this increases whatever percentum the subject is paying with up to 14 % in most European countries. GRANTED …if taxes are probably put to better use even in defaulting states like Spain, Italy and Greece than SA is another topic .
