This free Eighty20 report, delivered at the Marketing Mix Shopper Insights Seminar held on 24th November, 2015 at Sunnyside Park Hotel, Johannesburg explores key insights on lower LSM’s in South Africa.
Hi Brian, LSM is calculated based on a respondent’s answers to a number of questions which you can see on our LSM calculator (http://www.eighty20.co.za/lsm-calculator/). We do not have a sample questionnaire that we can send you but you can see the questions contained in the AMPS questionnaire. Please note the questions used to construct the LSM segments are distributed throughout the questionnaire (they are not in only one section). You can access the AMPS questionnaire here: http://www.saarf.co.za/amps-dscapiquestionnaires/2015/SAARF%20AMPS%20Jan-Jun%202015%20Questionnaire.pdf
Hi, do you have a document indicating what each LSM score means? E.g. I scored “8 low” and would like to understand what this (and other scores) means. Is this standardised?
Our apologies for the late reply, unfortunately we do not have the LSM numbers for those specific regions. However, we do have Central, Northerm, Southern, Eastern and Western regions of the greater North West.
