Trust Me: an exchange on the currencies of trust
“More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.” – Woody Allen, 1980.
Clearly, we chose badly.
We now have Donald Trump as president of the USA, students burning down institutions of higher learning, captured state institutions and the looming threat of a downgrade. It seems as though we are in deep trouble, with no one to trust and nowhere to run.
At times like these it can help to get some perspective on life, to think interesting thoughts and celebrate.
Come and join us for our last event of the year: an exchange on the currencies of trust. Trust Me, our latest presentation, explores the mechanisms we rely on to function as economic agents in a fraught world. We go informal, dissect the formal and uncover the role of data and technology. While the presentation may not answer all your questions, it will most certainly leave you pondering many more. Trust us.
