Famous poet, writer and activist Maya Angelou received over 50 Honorary Degrees over the course of her life. When she cited her poem "On the Pulse of Morning" at Bill Clinton's 1993 presidential inauguration, she became the first poet to speak at an inauguration since Robert Frost in 1961.
