About the role
We are looking for an experienced Analyst with approximately 3–5 years’ experience and a strong economics/commerce background to join our team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with data, solving commercial problems, building evidence-based recommendations, working confidently with clients, and translating complex analysis into clear business insights for clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for turning data and market context into meaningful insights that support decision-making. Responsibilities will include:
- Analysing data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and commercial insights.
- Applying economic thinking to business problems, market analysis and client recommendations.
- Preparing reports, dashboards, presentations and clear narratives for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Developing business cases, scenario models, impact assessments and ad hoc analytical outputs.
- Working with stakeholders to understand business questions and translate these into analytical approaches.
- Supporting analytical solution design and contributing to the development of practical, data-led recommendations.
- Manage client engagements
What we are looking for
- Approximately 3–5 years’ experience in an analyst, economics, consulting, research, data analytics or commercial insight’s role.
- A strong academic background in Economics, Econometrics, Commerce, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Engineering or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex information and draw practical conclusions.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI or similar data and visualisation tools would be highly advantageous.
- The ability to communicate insights clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A curious, commercially minded individual who enjoys asking good questions and finding practical answers through data.
- Strong client-facing skills, with the confidence to engage professionally, ask the right questions, build trust and communicate insights clearly.
