The James Webb Telescope has recently captured an incredibly clear and detailed image of the Pillars of Creation. The image is around 15,000 pixels wide and spans across 8-9 light years of space. Moreover, while the Hubble Telescope was only able to show where these clouds are, James Webb can determine their thickness.
