As many as 6% of Americans believe that the Apollo 11 Moon Landing was a hoax. One of the tenets of this belief is the perceived impossibility of the feat. To accomplish it the Apollo Project involved roughly 400,000 people and cost the US government $25.4bn over 13 years. Adjusted for inflation, that would currently be more than $200bn - approximately R3.3trn.
