   This might be caused by lack of disclosure (or the man side), but again with ladies, this might be because of married man having affairs with them or death of a spouse, but I thing it is more the former than the latter (proportionally).

   These demographics could be a reflection of the choices made by women in choosing sexual partners. A smaller proportion of the men are identified by women as suitable partners and therefore they would be responsible for the majority of offspring. That and affairs of married men. Having a spouse would be an indicator of their desireability to women already, as women see these men as ‘spoken for. This in conjuntion with the high probability that these men already have the qualities that women find desirable could caus that less men are responsible for the majority of births. It makes me think of the 80:20 principle but it is probably not that extreme. Methinks this is just good old natural selection at work and this is how it reflects in the numbers.

      True, have proven that with university dates, where mature male students usually date young first years as they are appealing and established at higher levels inn their career, well said Marius
